Meeting Rooms

We have space! Come through our doors and you’ll find community groups, training, offices, support organisations, interest groups, kids clubs, music, exercise groups, martial arts, conferencing and more, (sometimes all at the same time). We aim to provide space for our community and others to do the things they want to do.

We are home to a lot of local groups and the rooms are also booked regularly by training organisations. If you need space for a regular group, a meeting or training, please get in touch.

Our rooms are bright, open and we think a bit funky. Some are more private than others and they are within a well-used community centre. This means people come and go, walk past the window and occasionally wave. If you seek silence, beige decor and serious faces, probably best to go to a hotel venue! We are home to third sector offices, local organisations and community groups, expect a bit of bustle and a bit of life.

The information here is for charities, local groups and other organisations who may want to book a space. We have restrictions on hire for private use, such as family parties, please see Further Information for more details.


Room hire prices range from £30 to £55/session depending on the room you are after.
A session is approx. 3-4 hours and is either a morning, afternoon or evening.

3 Beans are our onsite community cafe and they can provide refreshments. costs vary, but they can do everything from tea and coffee to pastries and fruit to full buffets. Get in touch with 3 Beans for more info and they can tailor a package for your needs.

Tree Room

Tree Room

Fits 10 people comfortably (up to 15 cosily). The birch tree wallpaper flows out through the big sunny windows into the trees outside (unless it’s raining, then the windows aren’t sunny). Direct access to the outside. Great for smaller meetings, workshops, interviews or one to ones.

The Sanctuary


Our favourite room, fits 40 people comfortably (up to 60 cosily). Big windows, wooden floor, flexible layout, PA, kitchenette, loads of light and direct access to the gardens. What else can we say (except this room is booked most of the time so be flexible if you want it).

Main Hall

The Main Hall

We like this room, it’s a big space (lovely for acoustic performances). It was refurbished in 2016 and now looks rather good. Suitable for up 120 people, works best around 75 – 100. PA available, blackout, immediate access to small garden (we’ll even let you use the pool table). The hall works for larger meetings, conferencing, performances or groups. It can be set up in pretty much any style to suit your requirements. Contact us for availability.



It’s good for meetings, small activities and workshops, also useful for if you just need a pop-up office for a day or so. It has a door straight outside to the back garden. The room is used by young people in the evenings.

The Gardens


We are surrounded on every side by gardens, with a working garden which includes an earth oven. The spaces can be used for sitting or activities. Exclusive outside space can be arranged if required.

Cafe Space

Café space

A shared, public space, available evenings and weekends, an informal meeting space for about 30 people. Groovy, stylish (well it was generously furnished by John Lewis!). Ideal for consultation type events (restricted hours as The Olive Branch Café runs here weekdays)
